摘要:
利用LiF∶F-2 色心晶体作为可饱和吸收体,在带抗共振环 (ARR,Anti Resonant Ring)的YAG激光器中进行调Q实验 .当LiF晶体置于ARR中心处,激光腔为凸 ARR非稳腔 .而当LiF置于凸面全反镜前,激光腔等效为一个普通的平 凸非稳腔 .由调Q速率方程出发,理论和实验证明,在相同的实验条件下,凸 ARR腔的激光输出能量大大高于普通的平 凸非稳腔的输出能量 .利用多种泵浦能量进行系列实验,验证了结论的可靠性 .
Abstract:
A Q switching or Q modulation experiment is conducted in a YAG laser with anti resonant ring (ARR) by using LiF∶F - 2 color centre crystal as saturable absorber. The laser resonator is a convex ARR unstable resonator when LiF crystal is placed at the center of ARR; while the laser resonator is equivalent to a common plano convex unstable resonator when LiF is kept in front of a convex mirror of total reflection. Starting from rate equation of Q switching, theoretical derivation and experimental results have shown that the laser output energy of convex ARR resonator is much higher than the output energy of the common plano convex unstable resonator under the same experimental conditions. This conclusion is reliable, as verified experimentally by using diversified pumping energies.
