Abstract:
In view of the issues on the long cycle and high cost in the samples testing process of energy-saving stoves design and optimization,the Fluent was used to calculate the flow field and temperature field distribution of the stove flame and the thermal efficiency of the standard pot. Compared with the experimental data, it was verified that the thermal efficiency of the numerical simulation was within the allowable range of the error. The structure of the stove used in the simulation was optimized. The angle between the inner hole and the horizontal direction of the inner ring was increased from 0¡ã to 30¡ã, and the loading height was decreased from 35 mm to 25 mm. Simulation results show that overall thermal efficiency of the stove increased from 55.3% to 68.1% for the lower limit of the pot.
